Braxton Hicks x Zack Keim West Coast Tour
Howdy cowboys! Get that whisky and cigarettes ready because Braxton Hicks is set to gallop their way through the West Coast for three nights of country-singing music.
With the release of Braxton Hicks debut album All Hat, No Cattle, singer-songwriter Mikey Carnevale from The Frights ditches the indie rock for honky-tonk cowboy ballads that come together to form a fun and upbeat country-inspired project. “I just want to write some fun country songs and not have to alienate Frights fans more than they already claim to be,” said Carnevale. “It’s freeing! It means I get to open shows and go to bed before midnight.”
After performing a handful of shows throughout early 2024, Braxton Hicks will headline the West Coast shows with support from Zack Keim and Rangoo.
Making his debut in 2017 with his raw folk-inspired album First Step, Pennsylvania's finest singer-songwriter Zack Keim is back with a new album called Battery Lane, which will be released in February 2025.
Keim will perform songs from Battery Lane to promote the album, which will be released via Evan Westall of Caamp’s Label Super Sport Records. The new album will lean towards a more indie rock n roll folk sound.
Keim will also perform songs from his previous releases with a full band.
“My new record is probably the first time in my life that I’ve been super happy about the production/songs,” said Keim. “I’m pretty stoked to play some of these songs on this West Coast run and share it with the world next year.”
Fresh on the Orange County music scene, but ready to start a tussle at any given bar with their folk-driven alternative pop-inspired sound, Rangoo will be the openers for the three West Coast shows.
With a handful of singles released throughout 2023 and 2024, Rangoo has two EPs that are being prepared and recorded to be released as soon as the end of this year.
The West Coast shows will consist of three different nights, the first on October 3rd at the Genghis Cohen in Los Angeles, October 4 at the Whistle Top Bar in San Deigo, and October 6 at the Tiki Bar in Orange County.
