Kilo Bravo's "Good Grief" album release show was an electrifying event that took place last night at Costa Mesa's staple dive bar, The Wayfarer. The atmosphere was charged with excitement, and the music was exceptional. It was a night to remember! Infused with the spirit of Britpop and Indie Rock influence, it left the audience buzzing with excitement. Frontman Kris Butcher, sporting an Oasis t-shirt, exuded the swagger of a true rock n' roll star as he led the band through a set filled with infectious energy and undeniable talent.

Kris's vocals echoed the anthemic sound that reminded me of the raspy grittiness possessed by Stereophonic's Kelly Jones, drawing listeners in with his raw emotion and timeless appeal. Meanwhile, Dave Pelusi held down the fort with his cool-as-a-cucumber demeanor and sick bass lines that added depth and groove to each song. Adrian Sanchez’s guitar riffs were nothing short of mesmerizing, weaving seamlessly through the melodies with effortless precision. And let's not forget about Greg Anderson on drums, who banged the drums like a madman, driving the rhythm forward with relentless intensity.

The vibes in the venue were emotionally charged, with bangers pumping through the speakers all night long. The band's nod to The Beatles with a playful tease of "With a Little Help from My Friends" had the crowd in a frenzy, dancing and singing along with every word. And when someone shouted for "Wonderwall," Kris smirked in response, teasing the audience with the possibility of a cover. When the song started, I quickly realized I was played. As a diehard Oasis fan, I was both amused and slightly disappointed.

But even though I didn't get my "Wonderwall" moment, it was impossible to stay bitter for long, because Kilo Bravo put on an incredible show that left everyone wanting more. Not only are they supremely talented musicians, but they're also down-to-earth guys who make you feel like you're part of the band. Throughout the night, they engaged with the audience, making each person feel important and valued.

And let's not forget the venue itself – Wayfarer's sound system was on point, delivering crystal-clear audio that truly elevated the experience. With top-notch sound quality and a killer lineup including openers Softjaw and Hoogenboom, it's no wonder that Wayfarer is always at the peak of the live music scene.

Kilo Bravo is a class act band destined for greatness. With their infectious sound, magnetic stage presence, and the perfect setting at Wayfarer, they're poised to take the music world by storm. If you ever have the chance to catch them live, don't hesitate – you won't be disappointed.
